Dr. Tevfik Yavuz, PhD
Dr. Evren Ok, PhD., has taken part in numerous publications and case-sharing in national and international journals. His publications have received numerous citations and are continually referenced in many international and national scientific publications (link). He has made many scientific presentations in Turkey and abroad. He also serves as an editorial board member and referee in scientific journals related to Endodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry. He was awarded ‘The Best Endodontist’ by the IAE in London in 2019.
A renowned endodontist, Prof. Evren Ok is is well-versed in root canal treatment with rotary instruments, single-session root canal treatment, repeated endodontic treatment (Retreatment), root canal treatment of traumatized teeth, canal treatment of abscessed and cysted teeth, he is also a specialist in aesthetic fillings, dental restoration (using intraoral digital scanners) and endocrowns, and the safe removal of mercury-containing amalgam fillings – a procedure using specific protocols to minimize exposure to mercury vapour for both the patient and the dental team
Dr. Tevfik Yavuz, PhD., is highly respected in his field, and is a member of many international and national dental associations, including: IADR (International Association of Dental Research), TPID (Turkish Prosthodontics and Implantology Association), and TDB (Turkish Dentists Association). Dr. Yavuz has received an award at the PER-IADR (International Association of Dental Research), an international dental congress held in Helsinki, Finland in 2012, and in 2020 was awarded ‘The Best Aesthetic Dentist’ by the IAE in London.
Dr. Tevfik Yavuz is a leader in prosthetic dental treatment including the latest in all-ceramic implant technology and application. Throughout his academic and clinical career he has successfully treated over 1000 patients from many parts of the world in jaw and facial prostheses, a subject which remains his main area of interest

Holistic Bio Dentistry
Amalgam Fillings Removal
The removal of Mercury-Amalgam fillings and replacement with white composite materials is highly recommended. Mercury is a poisonous substance, and exposure to mercury used in Mercury-Amalgam fillings to the human body can cause health problems, especially to the kidneys and central nervous system.
Bisphenol A (BPA) Free
It is now forbidden to use materials containing Bisphenol A (BPA) in dental products. “BPA is not a component of any dental material. It should not be used during the manufacturing process of resin-based products for fillings, fissure sealants, luting and core build-up materials or as bonding agents for orthodontic brackets and bands.”
Nonsurgical periodontal therapy (NSPT)
Nonsurgical periodontal therapy (NSPT) is routinely used as treatment for controlling chronic periodontitis, with the aim of reducing bacterial plaque to a manageable level. Together with other nonsurgical therapies, such as oral hygiene instruction, scaling, and root planning, it is one of the tools used in periodontitis management.

Ozone therapy

Green Tea
It is known that there is a correlation between the consumption of green tea and oral health. The antioxidant, antimutagenic, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, together with the cancer‐preventive properties of Green Tea, are beneficial in the prevention of oral and periodontal diseases. Drinking green tea during the day can improve a person’s oral health status immensely.
Oil Pulling – Oral Hygiene
Oil pulling is the process where a teaspoon of a high-quality organically produced, cold-pressed oil is swished around the mouth for about 15 minutes to treat and prevent various oral conditions, and keep the teeth and gums healthy. The process creates antioxidants that injure or kill the cell walls of unwanted bacteria and fungi in the mouth, causing them to be literally be pulled into the oil.
Supplements to help your body deal with dental surgery
Vitamin C
Until recently it has been controversial for vitamin C to be utilized for pain relief. Vitamin C does have effective antioxidant, anti-inflammation, neuroprotective, and neuromodulation properties, and using high doses of vitamin C before and after dental surgery is shown academically to decrease the amount of postoperative pain a patient feels.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D, in substantial doses, has been shown to have positive cell growth action, wound healing, have antimicrobial and immunomodulator benefits, and has positive benefits in Surgical Site Infections. In dentistry vitamin D is used to treat and prevent caries, and to accelerate new bone formation around the ‘foreign’ materials used in dental implants.
